I submit we're pretty much becoming used to storing stuff in the cloud that we once never would have. And with the proliferation of cloud-based backup services and sync'd data services such as Evernote and Dropbox ... In the end, maybe the risk isn't all that much greater than using the wifi at Panera's or Mickey D's -- assuming you can trust that the data's encrypted on the devie before it's clouded.
