Apple iPad is awesome but NOT perfect. Give me a iPad with WebOS' multi-task
and easy of use and we have a winner. Palm has known there was a market for the
instant on, big screen, mobile device - anyone remember the Foleo. It was
close, but no potato.

I believe that there is a huge market for iPad and similar designed markets.
When are people going to realize that OS has never mattered? People shouldn't
even know a device has an OS. They should simply be able to perform the tasks
on the apps that allow those needed tasks.

People's usage on a PC is very limited as there are very defined tass that they
desire.

Make a device such as the iPad but with multi-tasking, a microphone and camera
and give developers the ability to create to their hearts desire.

I believe over 60% of PC and Apple desktop & laptop user that use the
device for personal use has no business having a full computer because they
don't use 60% of its power.

Those 60% could do nearly all of their work & play on an iPad with the
added features.

How does RIM control the "desktop market"?? Seriously...I don't

understand that.

Palm can survive being a niche player, but it has to develop a niche

first. If it got 8-10% of the market reliably, it'd be just dandy.

Nah, not impossible. Apple is trendy right now. If it becomes

ubiquitous, it will lose much of that air of exclusivity that the

creative class / hipster society require of their personal brand

investments. I think Palm could compete very well in the "grown-ups"

crowd if it was a lot more savvy about how it marketed itself.
