Ok...here's the scoop. I tested Google Talk SMS, email, and phone. SMS worked fine...immediately came through...alert @ bottom as expected.
Email worked fine...sending and receiving...alert @ bottom as expected. Phone...it worked...but it didn't ring...the call showed up on the screen, but it didn't vibrate or ring. (And yes, the ringer switch was on, volume was up etc.) I was able to answer and talk with no problems. So...with the exception of the phone not ringing, all tested fine.
