If Palm has a design patent on the webOS UI, then they could certainly take Lenovo to court, in the least to obtain an injunction from them bringing any phone running that UI to the US or EU (assuming the patent is valid both places). But, as IANAL, I do not know if they have any opportunities beyond that.
