According to Gizmodo, the two Chinese companies (one of which makes the 
T-Mobile Pulse (PayGo, Android 1.5) are described as low-cost/low-quality 
manufactures who would use Palm for better brand recognition - which may mean 
more QC problems for future Palm products.

Speculation never gets old :)

BTW - where is my WebOS-powered PalmPad?

Old news - check the date.  Thought we discussed this hear over the last
week.  Rumors were circulating about HTC initially and Lenovo, as well as
some other Chinese firms, and even Cisco.  Anyone's guess right now of
course.  Hopefully we'll here something more definite in the next few weeks?
