Know the feeling only too well- I support a football (soccer) team in 
that situation.

But, hey - we have got to the final of a major competition out of more 
than 700 entries and all we have to do now is to beat the 
biggest/richest Russian oil oligarc-funded team in the league to say `up 
yours`!
