Yes, I'll be checking out the Evo as soon as I can, too.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure that ~97% of my complaints about my Pre
could be resolved with decent hardware.  The rest are, almost to a
one, fixable with patches.

Of course, back on January 1, 2006, I stated publicly my desire for
someone, anyone, to produce a Google Phone:
