[Treo] In-vehicle Pre charging

I needed to charge my Pre this morning because I forgot to put it on 
last nihgt. Thing is, although the Pre indicated "Charging," on the car 
charger, it didn't charge at all. But it always charges on the wall 
charger at home.
      The car charger I bought from the Sprint store. I've had it 
several weeks, but hadn't had need to use it.
      Anyone else having trouble charging in the car.
      BTW, my Pre has Seidio's big battery.
