I'm using the Pre+ on AT&T and have been very happy with it. My only issue thus far has been an argument with AT&T about unlocking the device for international travels.
So, synching with Outlook in Classic is probably the big issue on this. I actually posted a survey on PreCentral to get everyone's feedback using the major possibilities for syncing with Outlook - PocketMirror, Missing Sync, and Companionlink. PocketMirror seemed to win, but there were good arguments for each of them. In the long run, however, I decided on a completely different route. I'm using Gsync to sync my Calendar and Contacts to Google and letting Synergy handle the rest through the cloud. It downloads from Google perfectly. I'm using Done! on the pre with a sync to Toodlo for my tasks, and I'm using Evernote for my Notes now. It all works really well, though I'm less enthused about using Evernote; it's a far superior alternative to Notes, but I liked them being directly synchronized with Outlook and I liked when I didn't have to have a data connection to get my notes on my Pre. That being said, it does much more than Outlook's notes could ever hope to. I would say don't give up on the Pre. I'm constantly amazed at how much I was able to customize it to my particular usage via PreWare and all the available patches. Michael [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
