On somewhat of a tangent - I saw the Evo as well as the Droid X in the store today for the first time. It doesn't seem anywhere near as big as I expected. Not that much bigger/wider than my Treo Pro in a rubber skin and not that much bigger than the Pre from what I remember.
For all the talk of giant screens, I was kinda expecting something that couldn't fit in my hand comfortably. The Dell Streak is supposed to be 5" (and unfortunately on AT&T) so it'd be interesting to compare. I was really hoping the webOSPad (for lack of a better word) would be out around the same time that the fleet of Android tablets as well as Windows 7 (Phone 7) tablets would be out around October. I played with an iPad today as well and I would love a cheaper and more open system like that to use. It seems like although a webOS Phone release will come before the end of the year, the tablets coming from HP this year will only be Windows and Android based (I think I'd read that last part right). So, anyone have any idea about what the new phones (if they even exist) will look like? On 8/11/10, George Kontos <[email protected]> wrote: > Piece of crap???
