In the daily bible reading program in the book of 1Kings3:16-28 something
struck me about the two prostitute. I realised that if a prostitute had so much
love for a child what more of our heavenly father. We see Jesus in
Mat7:11 highlighting that as well. If you, then, though you are evil, know how
to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven
give good gifts to those who ask him!
What am I driving at? I am just trying to make you understand the depth of
God`s love. We as humans are only poor imitations of God`s love.I know in this
season a lot has happened and for some it feels as though God doesnt care. He
does care, if the first woman in Kings was willing to fight for her child`s
survival to the extend of going to King Solomon a prostitute for that
matter, what more of our father in heaven?
I know things can get hectic and you feel as though everything is falling apart
but God is faithful. Hold on to His word.
