Pst Lync said on Saturday it doesn't matter that you are building because everybody builds; but the materials you use to build is what matters. Reflecting on this word, I realize that building with bricks is hard work and it takes longer than building with cheaper materials.
Building a strong foundation is hard work and no one sees the foundation...but the testimony is in the strength of the foundation when it is being tested. The problem is sometimes it takes you longer to build than anybody else, which means whilst everybody else is living in their houses or now enjoy their prosperity you might still be building, but never compromise on the materials you use, never cut corners knowing that the strength of your building will one day be tested. Sometimes we go through the harsh currents of life, and we seem to be tossed to and fro...but when we pull thru such torrents, we testify to the strength of our foundation. It is an encouraging word. Every time I will go thru a storm and want to give in, I will ask myself: Elisha how strong is your foundation?
