Hey Vibers!!!
I hope your Tuesday is as fabulous as mine is!! You know last Saturdays
soccer night was a blast with the soccer quiz and dances.
I however had the opportunity to go to Cross Chitungwiza with a team as
Pastor Lync was ministering. Guys it was hot (for lack of a more proper
word). I was telling a friend of mine yesterday that its almost like I left
Chitungwiza an hour ago. The imprint on my heart and spirit is still very
very strong. Pastor Lync preached on an amazing message called Success Lies
In Nifty Systems.
Here goes....
*PASTOR LYNC`S MESSAGE – 10 JULY 2010 CROSS CULTURE CHITUNGWIZA*
- Pst Lync began by reading from Psalm 1:3, and Joshua 1:8 he stated that
the promise in the word is that if we meditate on the word of God we will
prosper and be successful. He asked that if that is the promise in the word
then why does success allude us as young adults?
- The title of his message was *“success lies in nifty systems”* in other
words *“success lies in clever systems’*.
- He began to go into the different systems in Gods universe and from
there presented to us *the* *God of systems*. Seedtime and harvest is a
system, Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall is a system, Day and Night is a
system.
- He then said the problem with many young adults is that we are not
systematic and yet we want success.
- He said we are a generation that has for the most part failed to be
organized and therefore there is no consistency in our lives. Because of
that we have not experienced success.
- The definition of a system is that a system is an organized way of
doing things.
- What we are living in right now is Gods system. When there are systems
in place there is no chaos.
*WHY IS GOD SUCH A SUCCESSFUL GOD? BECAUSE HIS SYSTEMS WORK.*
* *
- Pastor said that there is a systematic way in which we need to operate
so that you produce particular results.
- Systems produce consistency and identical results. E.g KFC franchises
are a system. When that system is applied it means walking into a KFC in
Nairobi Kenya should create the exact same experience with walking into a
KFC in Dallas Texas because the system has been applied.
- Systems are so powerful that Pastor stated that when someone says they
want to buy a business; what they are buying is not the business but the
system. People do not buy buildings or a name but a system that is
working.
- Seedtime and harvest, cold & heat… a system. God is saying as long as
you have systems ONLY THEN WILL YOU PROSPER AND ONLY THEN WILL YOU HAVE GOOD
SUCCESS.
- Your body is a system that needs to be managed.
- The power of a system is seen when it is written down only then can you
say a system exists.
- Failure to follow a system brings forth failure.
- Pastor then went on to say in our own lives we must have nifty systems
in order to succeed. Things do not just happen randomly. If you want
success in prayer you must have a nifty systems to help you. A time when
you pray everyday or else its not a system and it won`t bring you success.
- There is a song that almost everyone sang in primary school. It said
“you mix, you mix, you mix like this, trying to make a dollar out of 50c”.
That’s a perfect depiction of a system. A system is a multiplier that takes
the little you put into it and creates much more than you put into it.
- Pastor went on to ask what our systems are in the different areas of
our lives. What are your financial systems? What are your relational
systems? Do you have systems in place?
- Our God is a God of pattern and principle and systems.
- Systems free you to now do much more in life. A system takes on a life
of its own so much so that you don`t need to always be there to mann the
system once its in motion. But you must create the system. E.g Harland
David Sanders (a.k.a Colonel Sanders) doesn`t have to be at every KFC across
the world to ensure the KFC experience his system simply simply works all by
itself to create the experience..
- The Bible is a system a standard operating procedure.
- To see is a system is working you must test the results it produces.
If its not producing then something is wrong with the system.
Guys I encourage to literally chew this word. It literally changed
the way I see things and operate. Whoever said the word of God is boring
and cannot take to the next level NOW as you apply it? Hebrews 4:12 says
"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged
sword, piercing even to the division of bone and marrow, soul and spirit,
and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart".
This word from Pastor Lyncs will turn you into a man or woman of *NIFTY
SYSTEMS!!!*
Enjoy!!!!!!
