pastor Tommy`s message was a word in season for sure, so often we miss our breakthroughs because we fail to understand the season we are in.In extreme cases we even abort that which we are carrying before time of deliverance. In 1 Chron we see the passage which talks about the sons of Issachar who understood the times.

This weekend was just deep, Pastor Tommy preached a message today on knowing the season that we are in as Chamu wrote. For me the aha was when he took us through the cycle in Romans 5:3-5 "Not only that we not only glory in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perserverance and perseverance character; and character, hope. Now hope does not dissapoint, because the love of God has been poured abroad our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given us. I have never really seen that in relation to the seasons in our lives that as you are faithful to allow God to do His work in the season you are in and you go for tribulation to perserverance soon it will produce character in you. Pastor Tommy said at the point that you are getting character ingrained in you, you can be sure that you are close to hope and when you get there you will not be disappointed. I was really touched by that word. As Simba said this is our week to fast and pray! Guys Saturday was just off the chain. Let me share some of the points that Pastor Lync shared with us that really got me thinking. - You cannot deal with a level 3 demon whilst you are operating at level 1 spirituality. - The response given to any spirit creates an atmosphere, an atmosphere that is sustained creates a climate. A climate that is sustained creates a stronghold. Finally a stronghold that has been around for long enough creates a culture. - As we continue to yield to the Holy Spirit through worship we begin to create the culture of the Cross. CROSS CULTURE. - Everything that the enemy is fighting is to stop you from entering into a moment. Pastor Lync commanded us to fast and pray this week everyday from tomorrow from 6am - 6pm. He gave us an example of electricity cables that are insulated. He said that is a picture of what we are. We have so much power on the inside of us, its only that it is covered by the flesh. Fasting removes the insulators so that we can be people who are walking with the raw uninsulated power of God! Join us as we pray and seek God in fasting and prayer. I encourage you to look through the word this week and find out what happened in Gods word as people fasted and sought God. He is the same yesterday today and forever! Have yourselves an amazing week! I love you guys!! Chief... I would encourage us to partner with the man of God in this coz i believe it is to our benefit. Let us silence the flesh and awaken the spirit and God will surely reveal to us what is in store for us this season. -original message- Subject: Vibe Communique 3 From: chamu dee <[email protected]> Date: 22/08/2010 14:37 *Vibe Communiqué * * * *Pastor Tommy Deuschle * * * *Sunday 22 August 2010 * * * Title: Manipulating Seasons Eccl 9;11 It is important to know the season you are in!!!! We are in a different season in our lives as a nation and as individuals Don’t be stake in time move on The rights thing at the wrong time makes you foolish Understand the season you are in? Know the global season of what God is doing God set things in patterns and principles Don’t be a person who always live in a season already past live in the season you are in Don’t try to manipulate seasons like the Pharisees who say when the Messiah came the where saying the messiah is coming. Abraham manipulate his season by bring having a child not of the promise. It’s not good to mix up seasons We live in a disappointed world it’s easy to stay there when God is telling us not to live in disappointment *Ways that you can identify seasons* 1. Though Pastors and People 2. Corruption 3. Though the Spirit. A conviction from the Holy Spirit. * * *Announcements* * * 1. For those who haven’t joined clans please join. 2. Let’s register for Cross Care to help the orphan (Keith). 3. Let’s attend pre-cross prayers @1600hrs. Let’s attend in our #s and set the tone for the meeting. *Discussion Question* * * *This week it’s special because it’s an open discussion of the Cross Culture Word. Let’s share it and discuss it.* * * *Remember to ask God the season we are in so that we cannot spoil the coming seasons.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tribewithavibe" group.
