At Kingdom Fest Br Nigel Chanakira shared a principle called 70-30 which simply says that u shld learn to leave within 70% of ur income, 10 is God's, 10 leave for emergencies and 10 you save. As young people we have a lot that we need to do and that makes the concept of saving even more important. U need to say for furniture, a car, a house, a wedding, u children's education and there is no better time to start saving the now whilst you are still young and single. I am very pasionate about financial discipline and saving becoz firstly i do investment and savings mgt but more importantly i have exprienced the benefits in my own life. I shall be sharing more on this probably at a tribe meeting or even in cross coz i believe finances are so important in building a young adult's life. I encourage you to start putting some money aside every month for ur future and for ur children's children.
