Hi Paida, I am not expert on the subject but I know that Moses went through a period of isolation, herding Jethro's sheep and that's when he had the ultimate encounter with "The Great I Am"...Joseph went through a season of isolation from his family and that is when God spoke to him more precisely through dreams and interpretation...away from the criticism of his family... Elijah isolated himself in fear and that is when God came to him to encourage him and strengthen him and he rose up with new vigour...Daniel, faced with persecution...fasted and prayed in isolation and God pulled through for him...Christ took out time to isolate himself and he came back ready for ministry...Samson was isolated from his own people and that is when he realized his error and that is when his strength was restored to him...
I believe isolation is a period of being humbled, being pruned, being cleansed of certain associations/company, being weakened in order to have a greater reliance and trust in God...in isolation we grow, we are pruned like the fig tree so that it grows strong, we are refined like gold that goes through the furnace...isolation is painful but Pst Taz once said that we should never be afraid of anything that God allows to happen in our lives...because the word says He is faithful and He will not allow us to be tested beyond that which we can endure...it also says :for if you fall in the day of adversity how strong is your faith???...He who promised is faithful... I hope the tribe can also contribute...
