Pst Tom was teaching on the hinderances to faith and one of the things he mentioned was that fear of man hinders faith seriously. in todays DBR in Exodus it spoke about how the midwives were instructed to kill all the baby boys but because they feared God they didn't and it says God was pleased with them that he gave them families of their own. on the other hand in Acts 24, the king had said to Paul I will make a decision on you later and he would meet with him for 2 years to be taught by him meaning he agreed with what he was being taught. Now when his reign had come to an end the bible says he left Paul in prison so he could please the Jews.
What are you really like in life, do you choose the route that will make God or people happy? Who do you reverence more? People or God? Whose instructions do you follow when they are contradicting? One more question: When praying corporately, do you listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying you must declare or do you get to a place where you are more concerned about the responses of people? I personally feel nervous when am leading prayer and people start clapping cause I know that its then easy to say what will bring applause when sometimes its not really what God would have you say at the time. Lets fear God.. Let God be true and everyman a liar! General -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tribewithavibe" group.
