I came across this ad from GearBest today. Normally I have received OK products from GearBest, knowing that they are a Chinese company with little or no regulations on their products. If you stick with known products marked as from Chinese companies, like their Arduino clones, you can save a buck or two while being aware that about 20% to 25% will reach you as bad.
Well this ad takes the cake. Advertized is a Samsung product. But look closely at the pictures; they didn't even steal a graphic from Samsung but pictured their own product. Note that the stripe and the text are not crisp but fuzzy or had bad masking. I have a couple of real Samsung EVO's here in front of me and they are crisp and slightly different. Samsung EVO Ultra Micro SDXC UHS-3 Professional Memory Card - $28.49 Free Shipping|GearBest.com https://www.gearbest.com/memory-cards/pp_651509.html?wid=1433363&utm_source=mail_api&utm_medium=mail&utm_campaign=GB_computer_180512_1526118549&eo=AbWeDEW2cPA3CmmOPaSzRhGdR6s The forums for this one suggests that you won't get 64GB out of a card, but more likely 16GB before things start getting corrupted. It was surmized that 16GB clones were used, and that the upper address lines were missing, and the reporting SD/XD ID has been reset to report a larger capacity. Buy beware!! - sgh
