Yes, thanks ... know about and have used these. I now want to build a toolchain for use in my cygwin environment. I've got the gcc built and it works. There's still a bunch of unknowns like continuing to run --with-sysroot for other tools using the environment outside cygwin. Other toolchain builders may know easy fixes to some of the problems I encountered. There's a lot of specifics.
