Hi, Tom. I'm using this currently: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerIQ-Charging-MacBook-Surface/dp/B00VDVCQ84
My use case is leveraging the rpi and several usb-to-serial adapters to achieve serial console connections to other devices. I essentially ssh to the rpi and use cu/tip/screen/whatever to reach the serial console of the other devices (such as my edgerouter firewall). This was just a simple fun project that essentially provides what a perle serial console would at a lower cost. But the hub does work with the usb-to-serial devices, and the power port keeps the rpi running without problem. ----- On Jan 7, 2020, at 12:06 PM, Triangle Embedded Computing Discussion <[email protected]> wrote: > Happy New Year all, > Can anyone recommend a good USB 3.0 externally powered hub for the RPI 4 > running > 64-bit Ubuntu?
