Open Source is AWESOME, and I do not want this to be a misplaced comment, but Open Source can drastically fail at cohesive products with great operation unless you have someone like a Canonical taking the reigns and coming up with a complete solution. Sadly they dropped it. I love hacking and playing around, but I also like productivity. The linux phone as it is a productivity killer. Touch was the best hope. It's effectively dead, at least to me willing to pay for a decent product, but they never made it that far. I keep watching though.
