Maybe Cary could make a virtual hamfest with Zoom. I have a killer document
camera to "show my wares" and could show other's stuff too (after quarantining
it for some days). Folks could share their creations, and yack and yack. (Zoom
supports "meeting rooms" to partition folks into workable groups. But the
"Zoom-master" would have to be a savant octopus with multiple brains and 50
eyes.) Pete

Subject: [TriEmbed] RARSfest cancelled I had 10 tables bought for the
non-profit club island  (SplatSpace, TAR, TriEmbed, TriLUG, HackLab, Triangle
Makers, Neuse River Valley MRR), and this event has now been cancelled.  We'll
see if we can reorganize for the Cary hamfest and if not we'll get together
again next year.  If the RARSfest is postponed to a new date I'll contact you
all again to see if we want to participate. Here is a statement from the Raleigh
Amateur Radio Society:We are sad to announce that the 48th annual
RARSfest/Roanoke Division
Convention, scheduled for April 11, 2020, has been canceled in
accordance with our Local government mandate. The health and wellness of
all involved are a priority to Raleigh Amateur Radio Society and, there
are no plans to reschedule the event this year. In an attempt to reduce
the inconvenience to our loyal attendees all paid pre-registration
monies will be refunded. Paypal and Check payments will be returned
through the proper channels and cash payment persons will be contacted
by RARS. We apologize for inconvenience and look forward in having you
join us next year on April 3, 2021.

Your understanding and patience will be greatly appreciated.
