If this is one of the old, black boards built with the pre-release chips you're out of Schlitz: it won't run current code and replacing the chip is the only option (a royal pain, but doable with a hot air tool.) If it's the red board, then never mind, that's a red herring and I suggest you send complete details in a TI forum msg if you can't revert to the old firmware. I've had "near brick" episodes w the xds110, but with a different chip family, so not relevant.Pete -------- Original message --------From: Christopher Bumgarner via TriEmbed <[email protected]> Date: 5/5/20 1:40 AM (GMT-05:00) To: [email protected] Subject: [TriEmbed] msp432p401r issues I recently tried to update the debug firmware on my launchpad and it appears to have failed. I am unable to communicate with the board via USB on windows and Linux. I have also tried the xds110 utilities included with the CCS software. Has anybody run into a similar issue? if so is there an easy fix I am missing or is it just bricked?
