Recently I worked on this project that makes use of the Raspberry Pi HQ Webcam to make it a high-quality USB webcam.
Other than a professional mirrorless/DSLR camera, I have never had anything that has a bigger sensor than this webcam. The camera has pretty good bokeh, and apparently it works with microscopes too https://www.google.com/search?q=c+mount+microscope so we can do it with board repair video. I don't know if any other hardware does it. Works with all major OSes.
