Rod, I forwarded your remarks to the list. -------- Original message --------From: Rodney Radford <[email protected]> Date: 1/21/21 8:39 AM (GMT-05:00) To: Pete Soper <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [TriEmbed] new $4 Raspberry Pi Very interesting. My first thought was only 264K of RAM, but once I realized this was not a Linux system, but an MCU with A/D, SPI, I2C, UARTs, timers, SWD interface, etc, they are pushing it more toward the Arduino style of projects and suggest it can be used with another Raspberry Pi if Linux is needed.Based on a dual core M0+, I think it is a nice looking product and I would be interested in picking one up to look at it. The big issue is how much support will it have out of the box - size of the user base, existing code and documentation, etc - things the current Raspberry Pi Linux systems and the Arduino already have - so they will need that to push into the MCU space. On Thu, Jan 21, 2021 at 8:07 AM Pete Soper via TriEmbed <[email protected]> wrote: https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-pico/ Pete
