Mike,

Yes, this is an interesting new entrant into the cellular IOT space.

Blue Wireless reached out to me last week and there are a few cool things I
learned:
- Blue Wireless is focused on connectivity, does not include the
microcontroller
- They have a carrier board with a feather header so you have lots of
choices
- They also sell a module you could use with something like the new
Raspberry Pi Micro - i2c or UART communications between the two
- 500Mb does not sound like much but for hourly web hooks for about 16
hours a day, it is likely enough to last 10 years
- One of the early investors has ties to AT&T, hence the sweet deal on
connectivity - but they are AT&T exclusive for now on LTE Cat1 and Cat M1
(2G/3G fallback)
- They are the only Cellular IOT vendor backed by the VC Sequoia - for what
that is worth

I will be getting a sample next week - looking forward to taking it for a
spin.

Thanks for sharing.

Chip

Ran across this interesting little device. Hope it might help someone on a
project.
