That looks like a neat platform, except I'd say it's a little ungainly
tall...but that could probably be adjusted with some careful design and
maybe a 3D printer.
Good luck finding a RasPi to buy right now, though.

Thought is an inverted T-shaped track with a hobby
motor driving a couple of wheels and carrying a
camera and LED lights around the crawlspace. ____
Pan / tilt. Maybe an arm to lower the camera as
needed. A charging station along the track where
