A new version of I-D, draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname-13.txt has been successfully submitted by Donald E. Eastlake and posted to the IETF repository. Name: draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname Revision: 13 Title: Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links (TRILL) Single Area Border RBridge Nickname for Multilevel Document date: 2020-07-27 Group: Individual Submission Pages: 20 URL: https://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname-13.txt Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname/ Htmlized: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname-13 Htmlized: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname Diff: https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-trill-multilevel-single-nickname-13 Abstract: A major issue in multilevel TRILL is how to manage RBridge nicknames. In this document, area border RBridges use a single nickname in both Level 1 and Level 2. RBridges in Level 2 must obtain unique nicknames but RBridges in different Level 1 areas may have the same nicknames. Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org.
