I have a laptop that has no internal floppy or CD. I have installed Linux in the past by removing the HD and putting it in my desktop machine. But I would like to try another method next time.
Can the current distros install off of a USB CDROM or should I get a PCMCIA SCSI CARD? Does anyone know a good (cheap) place to get external floppy cables for IBM Thinkpads? Thanks, John
