If anyone cares about real stuff anymore... I swapped out the memory and everything seemed great, but as time wore on it froze again. After a reboot it froze faster - then faster still. The problem seems to increase as the system heats up. So it could be either the MB or CPU, but its definately not the memory (well, theoritically I could have a second memory chip that is bad in the same way as the first was... but the odds are against it).
Personally I think the problem is the ABIT Motherboard - so Andrew, you might want to reclaim your cpu from Kevin. On Monday 18 February 2002 01:28 pm, Andrew C.
