BTW - My boot device should be an IDE. Although I'm trying to get drivers
for my wd7197 scsi controller working. See knowplace.org on this, not a nice
thing Western Digital and Adaptec did for us who have this controller.

I've done this before, i think we all have. Usually when i forgot to
compile in the corrept (or any) SCSI support for example and my boot
device was SCSI. Hopefully you kept your old kernel around for backup
sake.
