When I switched over to Earthlink they let me keep my Surfboard(which I was renting from TimeWarner). My Surfboard is an external unit with an ethernet(10baseT/RJ-45) socket and coax connector on it. Plug your "cable" into the coax and your straight-thru ethernet cable to the 10baseT socket and your in business. Regards, Mike ===== --- Is your computer sitting idle?
