I have trouble to make the X server working from RH7.3 and RH8.0 on the
IBM ThinkPad T20 laptop.
The installation program from both RH 7.3 and RH 8.0 could not
detect the graphics card (S3 VERGE MX) and the display of the
laptop therefore end up with X server configuration failed.
Have tried the manually configure it using the "generic laptop
display with resolution 1024 x 768" but no success. Also tried
the installation to the native boot off the hard disk drive, and
the VMware based. No success.
Any suggestions?
