Lindows is an interesting product. It installs automagically and tweaks the system to appeal to the masses that are accustomed to Windows. They are marketing Click-n-Run that presents all the Linux apps in an on-line mall format. They have a connection with the Wal-Mart $199 PC too. Lindows installs in 7 minutes with few prompts. Darn good packaging and marketing.
>From the review: Will Lindows survive over time? Hard to call. If other distros make installing and downloading software as easy as it is in Lindows, without charging, then perhaps not. But for now, it's a sweet little OS that deserves some positive recognition for its attempts to bring Linux to the masses.
