well, i must say this is an auspicious moment. never thought i'd see an email from such a linux luminary as maddog in my mbox. and not only that, but he took the time to answer a relatively simple question (no offense ken, simple questions are good too!) now i feel bad about every time i read a trilug post and said to myself, "i'm far too 1337 to answer a simple like *that*, let 'em figure it out the hard way like i did". mighty impressive.
