How about a Lucent Cajun PS-118sx 8 port 10/100 w/2 fiber gig uplinks? The Cajun switches are known for their nearly non-blocking throughput, btw. I'll have to wait until my Bay 350T 24 comes in, but I'm looking to get rid of that switch when the time comes.
I'll have to double check, but we might could use a smallish fast ethernet switch for the rack's private network (used for NFS and authentication between servers... the servers themselves are publicly available).
