The flash plugin rpm that I linked to has a setup script that is run when the rpm is installed. It automatically sets up these symlinks. The directories it looks in are the following: /usr/lib/mozilla /usr/lib/mozilla-* /usr/lib/netscape /usr/lib/opera /usr/lib/phoenix /usr/local/netscape /usr/local/mozilla /usr/local/phoenix /opt/mozilla /opt/netscape /opt/phoenix So, if you have an rpm system and install that rpm, it should setup everything for you. Also, it has a urpmi archive for Mandrake 8.2 and 9.0 and an apt repository for Red Hat 8.0 or 7.3, Conectiva 7.0, Debian, SuSE.
