I recently bought a Safari subscription (http://safari.oreilly.com/) had
have been really impressed with it.
I have a lot of background in PERL, so I was just looking for something
about PHP's particular syntax and quirks.
The two books I added to my bookshelf are both "animal" books:
Programming PHP (by Rasmus Lerdorf, Kevin Tatroe)
PHP Cookbook (By David Sklar, Adam Trachtenberg)
