The main problem with that (and all blocking really) is that 
because the e-mail is blocked, they have no way of easily knowing
that they're not receiving the e-mail!  That's one of the reasons
I prefer letting the user take care of it themselves with something
like SpamAssassin or blocking things that you have verified yourself
that are actively attacking you.
