with web space including email going for $10/mon, it may take a whole
bunch of clients to make web space fly.

$100/mon for co-location is an excellent price, though.

with $100/hr or whatever from *service* of those web sites, you might
want to shift the focus for the profit center.

good luck!

Subject: [TriLUG] Looking to share a server...

        Hey everyone,

For my company I've been looking into a dedicated server to do
some web
hosting for us. We decided on one at $100/mo... a Red Hat server
from
ServerBeach. I'm looking to sell web space on it for our
clients...
unfortunately, we don't have enough clients yet to make it worth
our
while... So, we will basically have a 1GHz Server with 60 GB of
space
on our hand with not a hell of a lot for it to do... I intent to
sell
web space, but I'd also consider selling shell accounts,
POP/IMAP
boxes, FTP space, VPN accounts, DNS hosting/slaving... pretty
much
anything you can think of, I'd be open to. I'd even consider
sharing
the server if someone else out there were interested in doing
something
similar. If any of this sounds interesting to anyone out there,
let me
        know...
