For Webalyzer, you only need the former directory.

Yup.

(I found a webalizer installation
manual...but it seemed to be for an install from source...and the
RPM installation seems to have put things in different places)

Funny how that happens. But I can't fault RH for that one; they tend to make those changes to make packages more consistent with each other.
