Another one you could check is DevilLinux. It's a linux project that is ONLY a firewall/router, loads from CD with the /etc config files on FDD. It's uses 2.4 kernel and iptables. There is NO HDD installation. http://www.devil-linux.org or http://sourceforge.net/projects/devil-linux/
