IMHO
Neither Windows or Linux are perfect and they both have there advantages and short comings. I still feel that windows will always be the OS home users purchase.
Its simply because MS has put a lot of time and effort in to making Windows a great gaming platform. This industry, if you have not noticed, is bigger money wise
than the movie industry.

Maybe its more of "I KNOW Windows is swiss cheese but ive heard this Linux thing is normally cheddar" Besides when anything does comes up it gets patched quickly (and very few of them cripple systems)
