If you will remember, a number of months ago I sent out and e-mail to your organization asking for volunteers to help with the annual conference sponsored by Partnerships in Assistive Technology and the North Carolina Assistive Technology Program. The time has come to recruit you once again. We have two workshops on Linux setup for our conference and we could use your help and input both before and during the conference. You can visit the following web site to learn more about the conference in general and our particular workshops which are scheduled for the afternoon of November the sixth and all day on November the seventh. http://www.pat.org/EXPO/index.html We will be holding a couple of meetings prior to the conference to load software and discuss the applications that will be featured at the workshops. Spamassassin running in Debug. the postfix and fetchmail handlers processed through procmail and spamassassin and were marked as spam. the gotmail and fetchyahoo handlers process through procmail and ended up in the folders that they were supposed to, but did not go through spamassassin. The log file running tail show me the definitive results. Hello Chip, It wasn't the Corvair engine that was responsible for the substantial number of fatal accidents it accrued; it was the design of the rear suspension. Both of the rear axles were vertically opposed swingarms; if you lifted the car off the ground, the rear wheels would both swing down on either side of the differential. This was not unusual, but unlike other designs, the wheel's camber was not adjusted when the axle moved. The wheel stayed perpendicular to the axle instead of the ground. There were no sway bars, which GM omitted for a savings of $4 per vehicle. The car's weight was greater in back than in front, adding to the impact of these uncontrolled variables when avoidance maneouvers were required. Anyone interested in the details can find them quickly with google. I'm not rabidly pro-Nader and didn't vote for him, but I do admire his willingness to take a stand. He was a product of his time, when automobiles came into full popularity in this country with almost no concern for safety or the environment. I personally know four people who died in car accidents, and several more who have been grievously injured. It's not something I ever want to take for granted. Apologies for this diversion folks. You could also put kernel updates in the exclude line in your yum.conf file. That way it won't update your kernels from yum. (Glibc is another common addition). Apparently the network admins were concerned because there were so many people connected from moya. (Sometimes malicious users use multiple connections for denial of service bots.) I ran into this when using Knoppix to copy a RH7.3 machine to a new hard drive. I used Knoppix to partition and format the new drives. I then rsync'd all the files over. The first time RH7.3 needed to fsck the new drive, it said the filesystems were created with unsupported options and refused to fsck the drive. There was some slight difference between the fstools that RH7.3 didn't like. I restarted the whole process, but used the RH7.3 cds in rescue mode to create the filesystems. I used Knoppix exactly as before for all other steps. This time there were no complaints from RH7.3 when fsck'ing. These were ext3 filesystems and the RH7.3 was up to date on errata.
