RedHat just paid me and my employer a visit and on my list of questions was the support of LVM in 3.0. They confirmed that it would indeed be in 3.0. Unfortunately, they also told me that reiserfs still doesn't pass their "stress testing" in-house, so it's not officially supported yet. I'd prefer not to use ext3, since you can't grow it on the fly like you can with reiserfs. So, I could use reiserfs, but what's the point of buying "enterprise" RedHat if you don't use 100% supported software. <sigh> -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
