I'm in Tampa, and have yet to make a meeting (don't travel that much any
more.)  The real value you'll find is in the information exchanged.
This is one of the best LUGs anywhere, so you'll learn a lot.

Well I don't know how much of a "lang distance" guy I am but 
it's about 40-50 miles for me to each meating. I almost always make it
it once a month. I also know we have one member currently living in
Philidelphia, PA, though he doesn't come to many meetings :-)
