Not that I really care about the book or Gagne's style, but since I actually do own the book I thought I would clarify: The book is different from the articles. It's probably NOT something that would appeal to a grizzled Linux veteran but it's very approachable if you have a limited Linux background and is informative but not overpowering. It covers a lot! It is definitely not encyclopedic and has some weaknesses, but then I haven't seen a book yet that doesn't! Like I said originally: you need time and experience to learn Linux. This is probably a useful tool if you're new-to-middling. IMHO. I know I learned a thing or two from it... :) -N > Cheers, > Tanner > -- > Tanner Lovelace | lovelace(at)wayfarer.org | http://wtl.wayfarer.org/ > --*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- > GPG Fingerprint = A66C 8660 924F 5F8C 71DA BDD0 CE09 4F8E DE76 39D4 > GPG Key can be found at http://wtl.wayfarer.org/lovelace.gpg.asc > --*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-- > Don't move!
