Just curious: What's up with the splash of delayed emails on the trilug mailing list?
If an e-mail isn't sent from a valid subscribed e-mail address it gets held for moderation. Mike and I are the ones who get notifications about that. Generally, by the time I get to them, Mike has already processed them, so I've gotten kind of complacent about checking. Unfortunately, that means I forgot to check when Mike went on vacation. So, when he checked this morning, there were 38 held messages! So, basically, it's my fault for not checking it over the weekend. Sorry.
But, the moral of the story is that you can prevent this from happening by always posting from your subscribed e-mail address. And, if you need to post from a second address, you can subscribe it and set it to not receive e-mail from the list. So, don't let this happen to you. ;-)
