My main email address, [EMAIL PROTECTED], is delivered directly to my computer by the MX host I use. Other accounts are accessed using fetchmail using IMAP or POP3 which delivers to the sendmail running on my computer.
I use procmail to perform local delivery and have SpamAssassin plugged into my .procmailrc to perform Spam detection. Procmail rules filter the spam into a separate folder, sort the rest of my incoming mail and drop it into a Maildir directory structure which I then access using Courier-IMAP on the IMAPS port.
Personally I use Evolution or Mozilla Thunderbird to access the IMAP store. I also have SquirrelMail set up to provide web access if I'm away from a computer running an IMAP client.
I find this a very usable setup and have also set up a couple friends with accounts using very basic .procmailrc's to filter spam and sort their mail. They like it very much as well.

Here's what I'd like to do:
Both my wife and I have multiple e-mail addresses for various activites. If possible I'd like to:
1. download my pop3 mail from various mailboxes to a linux box at home 2. run everything through spamassassin 3. deliver the mail to our laptops (upon pop3 request) from the home linux box while preserving where the mail came from (i.e. if the mail was originally to gregbrown(at)mindspring.com I'd like to still to preserve the header if possible rather than being to so-and-so on such-and-such homeip.net address.
Is this possible? If so, how did you make this happen?
