proxim makes killer point to point wireless kits. way cool yagi antennae, lightning arrestors, coax. works out of the box without a lot of futzing around. highly recommended. i've got a client with two side by side manufacturing plants tied together with a proxim kit. so far, 100% customer satisfaction.
of course, we're talking kits that cost over a grand instead of like charmin where you use it, toss it and get a new roll when the d-link fails. /jim -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Christopher L Merrill Sent: Monday, January 05, 2004 10:35 AM To: Triangle Linux Users Group discussion list Subject: Re: [TriLUG] Xmas wireless question My only other experience with wireless gear is Proxim...and D-Link is most definitely a step up in quality from Proxim. -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/ TriLUG PGP Keyring : http://trilug.org/~chrish/trilug.asc
